The Killers - Day & Age

The Killers - Day & Age

01. Losing Touch
02. Human
03. Spaceman
04. Joy Ride
05. A Dustland Fairytale
06. This Is Your Life
07. I Can't Stay
08. Neon Tiger
09. The World We Live In
10. Goodnight, Travel Well
11. A Crippling Blow
12. Forget About What I Said

Very very hard to find a band which will never let their fans down nowadays. The Killers is one of the best band I manage to find. From Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust until their latest, Day & Age, all maintain the awesome quality and standard. Last year, I was crazy about Sam's Town, which was probably the best album in 2007 (it was released end of 2006 and I listened from 06 till 07 :P). End of 2007 came Sawdust which was a compilation album, and also, followed by the cute crazy funny Christmas single of theirs, Don't Shoot Me Santa. Now I am longing for their 2008 Christmas single, Joseph, Better You Than Me. The song is a duet with Elton John.

Back to Day & Age, the 1st (Human) and 2nd (Spaceman) single needless to say are damn awesome, especially Spaceman, makes me feel like dancing everytime I listen to it. A Dustland Fairytale, This Is Your Life and The World We Live In are confirmed great hits I shit you not!!! I Can't Stay can give you the kind of feeling like in Disney's Lilo and Stitch, err,... Hawaii feel? Neon Tiger and A Crippling Blow is kinda retro,... Goodnight, Travel Well eeeewwwww, manage to pull down your mood. Don't listen while you are sad... Really a great album. A must listen!!!

Since Christmas is coming, I am listening to Don't Shoot Me Santa while hunting for their 1st Christmas single A Great Big Sled, as well as waiting for Joseph, Better You Than Me... Merry Christmas!!! Hohoho~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nickelback - Dark Horse

Nickelback - Dark Horse

01. Something in Your Mouth
02. Burn It to the Ground
03. Gotta Be Somebody
04. I'd Come for You
05. Next Go Round
06. Just to Get High
07. Never Gonna Be Alone
08. Shakin' Hands
09. S.E.X.
10. If Today Was Your Last Day
11. This Afternoon

Dark Horse is Nickelback's coming back after the multi-platinum selling album All the Right Reasons. In album wise, I kinda prefer Dark Horse if compare with All the Right Reasons (although professional review gives quite low credit for Dark Horse). But I can't deny that there are no songs in Dark Horse which can overtake the super hit - Far Away in All the Right Reasons. For me, All the Right Reasons is kinda over-rock, feel tiring after finishing the whole album, and yet, Dark Horse contain different elements of rock which will make the album a lil bit lively.

Burn It to the Ground, Gotta Be Somebody, I'd Come for You, Never Gonna Be Alone, If Today Was Your Last Day, This Afternoon are the powerful hits from Dark Horse. If you got a boring afternoon no matter in office or at home, feel free to listen This Afternoon, at least it manage to cheer me up... :)

Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul

Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul

01. Bag It Up
02. The Turning
03. Waiting For The Rapture
04. The Shock of the Lightning
05. I'm Outta Time
06. (Get Off Your) High Horse
07. Falling Down
08. To Be Where There's Life
09. Ain't Got Nothin
10. The Nature Of Reality
11. Soldier On
12. Boy With The Blues
13. I Believe In All

Finally, Oasis is back since (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (1994), or, I would say since Be Here Now (1997). For me, Dig Out Your Soul is kinda back to the Oasis' standard, since their 3 previous albums (Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe The Truth) were obviously not up to path from what an Oasis suppose to be. Dig Out Your Soul is comparable with their 1994's and 1997's but still will not ahead of those classics of theirs.

Bag It Up, The Turning, Waiting For The Rapture, The Shock of the Lightning, I'm Outta Time were good, especially I'm Outta Time from Liam Gallagher, great ballad!!! Others no comment, but one little disappointment is Falling Down by Noel Gallagher, doensn't up to Noel's standard. Another disappointment is, I still can't hear any Noel's long lost significant guitar solo, like those in Don't Look Back in Anger & Some Might Say...

Go Go KTV Malacca - Round 2

While KL people talking about Red Box & Neway, Malaccan will answer by Go Go KTV. Located on the Strait of Malacca and linked by a jetty, Go Go KTV is way more beautiful and unique than those inside shopping complexes.

View from top.

Other than KTV, the outdoor area is the perfect place to have a nice drink, chit chatting with a bunch of old friends while enjoying the sea breeze.

Also a perfect place for couples.

Sea.

Drinks for 5 sexy girls and 3 handsome guys.

Perfect drink for smoothen ur throat while singing :)

Newly open Bali cafe at the entrance of the Jetty. Will visit it on December...

Eye of Malaysia, which is viewable from the Jetty, somehow not so attractive to me anymore.
