My New Spectacles

Finally!!! I changed a new spectacles after using the previous one for almost 9 years!!! Phiewww...
I always have the idea that my glasses are still usable and basically do not have the needs to have a new one.
But anyway, just feel like my previous spectacles somehow kinda out dated and yeah, I do need a new one and the previous one can serve as my spare glasses.










Bought the Calvin Klein frame from Sunglass & Vision World at One Utama, and had my Hoya 1.67 index lens at Focus Point Pavilion with a super great deal ^.^

Seriously I don't know where to spend the RM20.00 voucher...
Basically I wasn't attracted to any of the Mickey mouse shirt/jeans/socks/underwear/etc...
But I told myself that I've already come all the way to KL through the traffic jam and already parked my car in RM5.00 parking lot @ Lot 10, any how also need to get something before I go back...
I need to get rid of the voucher and need to hold something from Uniqlo in my hand...
Uh,... Tough job eh, I hate to shop like this actually...

I bought it because the cotton is really really soft, very comfortable...
Hopefully it will be as soft as it is now even after washing...

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach

Not all the songs from Gorillaz can be digested by me.

Basically, I love 19-2000, Clint Eastwood, and Feel Good Inc., but sorry for the rest of the songs in their albums, even the first single Stylo in this new album.

For their latest album Plastic Beach, I would like to share some of the songs which I like:
- Superfast Jellyfish Ft. Gruff Rhys & De La Soul
- Empire Ants Ft. Little Dragon
- Some Kind of Nature Ft. Lou Reed
- On Melancholy Hill
- Plastic Beach Ft. Mick Jones & Paul Simon
- To Binge Ft. Little Dragon

Some Kind of Nature Ft. Lou Reed is catchy. Lou Reed is great to be featured with Gorillaz, just as great as featuring with The Killers. Isk, remind me Tranquilize again, vocal of Brandon Flower + Lou Reed = PERFECT

Empire Ants and To Binge featuring Little Dragon are nice. Little Dragon's vocalist is a Swedish-Japanese singer Yukimi Nagano who got a seductive voice.

I would say a big NO to those featuring Mos Def and Snoop Dogg.

On Melancholy Hill is just tooooooooooo gooooooooood. For me, it is the best of the entire album. It is not a hard-to-sing song, doesn't require any supersonic high "dolphin pitch" or rock the lung out or whatsoever, but the rhythm is relaxing, enjoying and feel like twisting my body and head slowly leading by the rhythm itself. I can repeat playing On Melancholy Hill for 1 hour. Really never expected Gorillaz will come out with this type of surprisingly nice hit, just like the surprise given by Oasis in Dig Out Your Soul with I'm Outta Time.

Don't know why, when Damon Albarn is damn successful when transform into Gorillaz, especially in US, but cannot create any surprise for US market/listeners when he uses back his original form, Blur. If in UK, yes, both Gorillaz and Blur are number one.

Aiyakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, bought back home and wore to KL once only realised that the size was kinda small.


Went back to change to a bigger size. Shhhh.......... Don't tell the sales person I wore the shoes until KL ok, hehehe.... Yeah, this time, eventhough is stiiiiillll not perfectly fit(still can feel a lil' tight), but still okie la, hopefully will become loose a bit after few times of wearing.

I always have a problem in choosing myself a suitable shoes. Eventhough I am wearing size 8, but I always can find a lot of different standards of size from different brands.
My current old sandals is size 6 but still super loose, and ended that the sandals is wearing me instead of the other way around (It was the core factor that misleaded me to buy a smaller size sandal, and resulted me in buying a damn tight Hush Puppies in the beginning and had to go back to change)
My formal Renoma shoes is also 41, and is kinda tight, luckily no need to wear it everyday.
My Nike sport shoes is size 9, is a lil' bit loose. Actually size 8.5 will fit my foot perfectly but out of stock, so I took the size 9. It is still ok when wearing it with sport socks.



Other than having difficulty in finding the correct size for my shoes, the same problem goes to underwear as well. FYI, Size M for Renoma, CK, Hush Puppies and Alain Delon are all different -_-"

How many people actually followed this Malaysia's online reality series??? I can't really see any hot discussions in Malaysia's top forums. Whenever I sent the link to my friends, not much reponses were given. But, I myself did follow this reality series since season 1, as well as the season 2 which just ended up last week (15 May 09). The show is really a well conducted show and you can see the effort put by all the contestants as well as those professionals.

Kinda disappointed :(

Natural borned cute Pinky showed us not only the cutesy side, especially the final few shots including the finale, proven that she is more than cute, yeah, she is very pretty too! She got the perfect complexion, perfect height and weight. The most important is, she is down on earth. Eventhough her mom wanted her to marry rich older man but she fight for her true love. Girl like this is very rare nowadays (Ah Fai is a lucky guy, hehe), especially in the materialistic big cities.

Things that I do not like about this online-sms-reality show:
- The richest contestant will always win (Pardon my ignorance).
- Some judges seems like doesn't really interested in chinese contestants with fair complexion and prefer those closer with theirs.

LCD monitor

I was using Samsung SyncMaster 713N 17" LCD for almost 3 years. I wanted to buy a wider LCD monitor since before CNY 2009. Last week when I went back to my hometown sweet home, I noticed a LCD box in the living room. Turned my head toward the TV, err nope, still the old cube TV. I never ever expected anyone will buy new LCD monitor since no one in my home using desktop PC. But sometime, things which you never expect it will come true will turn out to be true.

Yeah, we got a new 21.6" BenQ wide LCD in my bedroom. At home, no one needs any LCD and no one will buy no LCD monitor other than me. If I really buy a LCD, I also will go for Samsung or Dell instead of BenQ. So, I wondered how on earth did they got this? Haha,... Actually, it is the prize from the lucky draw(3rd prize) which won by my brother. End of last year, my brother bought a laptop from PC World and he was eligible to take part in the lucky draw. It was kinda surprise since no one mentioned nothing about lucky draw because we all always never expected to win anything over any lucky draw.

Nike Zoom Limitless 穿后感

I got a habit which is always unwilling to (不舍得) use the new stuffs that I just bought.
After buying this pair of sneakers for almost a month, I finally HAVE TO wear it since I already brought my old sneakers back to hometown.
Today is the day that I break its virginity. Yeah, we did it all the way from home until CF Mid Valley. We did it more vigorously in CF. Yeah baby~~~ It fully satisfied me. Sexy look, slim and curvy body, perfect complexion, light weight and very comfortable.
I started my gym a week before Chinese New Year 2009. During February, as a person who exercise less than 5 times a year, I jogged for 12 minutes and already out of breath. Until mid of March, I improved a bit, at least can jog for 4KM in 30 minutes continuously and speed at 8.0. Today, with my Nike Zoom Limitless, miraculously, I manage to jog for more than 45 minutes continuously and as far as 5.5KM, at average speed of 8.5!!! I swear I definately CAN continue longer because I still FULL WITH BREATH and POWERFUL, but too bad the time not allow me to continue any longer as I got something else to do afterward. Yeah, more than 45 minutes more than 5.5KM and speed at 8.5, I set my new record!!!
As I mentioned, I seldom exercise and just started my gym session not long ago, please don't compare my record with those expert FOR NOW.

From Nike Air Zoom Moire+ to Nike Zoom Limitless+

Philosophy of Shopping & Megasales
A car takes around 2 or 3 years to have a facelift, and after 5 or 6 years will release a new generation. But for Nike, it will have a new design for all its shoes collection at least once a year. Which means, after 1 year, your Nike is basically outdated, out of size and out of the ordinary Nike price. During 2008, I was falling for Nike Air Zoom Moire+ (2007 collection if not mistaken) but was damn hard to find, especially the black and red combination as in below picture.


During the 4th quarter of 2008, I finally managed to have my 1st touch on it during megasale at RSH but all were either too small or too big from average size, and all were in not-so-attractive blue & grey combination instead of black & red. Obviously they were the leftover and giving as high as 50% discount.

I learnt a lesson about megasale/warehouse sales. Eventhough you can get all the branded stuffs at very attractive discount, but, you will never ever get the perfect size. All the sales item are outdated and leftover from the giant Europe/UK/US size which not much Asian people can fit in. Come on, everything happen for a reason, so as mega/warehouse sales.

Since it is impossible for me to get Nike Air Zoom Moire+ (black & red + my size), I have to go for another design which hopefully can fulfill my choosy taste. At last, I picked Nike Zoom Limitless+ (2008 collection correct me if I'm wrong).

Very very hard to find a band which will never let their fans down nowadays. The Killers is one of the best band I manage to find. From Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust until their latest, Day & Age, all maintain the awesome quality and standard. Last year, I was crazy about Sam's Town, which was probably the best album in 2007 (it was released end of 2006 and I listened from 06 till 07 :P). End of 2007 came Sawdust which was a compilation album, and also, followed by the cute crazy funny Christmas single of theirs, Don't Shoot Me Santa. Now I am longing for their 2008 Christmas single, Joseph, Better You Than Me. The song is a duet with Elton John.

Back to Day & Age, the 1st (Human) and 2nd (Spaceman) single needless to say are damn awesome, especially Spaceman, makes me feel like dancing everytime I listen to it. A Dustland Fairytale, This Is Your Life and The World We Live In are confirmed great hits I shit you not!!! I Can't Stay can give you the kind of feeling like in Disney's Lilo and Stitch, err,... Hawaii feel? Neon Tiger and A Crippling Blow is kinda retro,... Goodnight, Travel Well eeeewwwww, manage to pull down your mood. Don't listen while you are sad... Really a great album. A must listen!!!

Since Christmas is coming, I am listening to Don't Shoot Me Santa while hunting for their 1st Christmas single A Great Big Sled, as well as waiting for Joseph, Better You Than Me... Merry Christmas!!! Hohoho~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dark Horse is Nickelback's coming back after the multi-platinum selling album All the Right Reasons. In album wise, I kinda prefer Dark Horse if compare with All the Right Reasons (although professional review gives quite low credit for Dark Horse). But I can't deny that there are no songs in Dark Horse which can overtake the super hit - Far Away in All the Right Reasons. For me, All the Right Reasons is kinda over-rock, feel tiring after finishing the whole album, and yet, Dark Horse contain different elements of rock which will make the album a lil bit lively.

Burn It to the Ground, Gotta Be Somebody, I'd Come for You, Never Gonna Be Alone, If Today Was Your Last Day, This Afternoon are the powerful hits from Dark Horse. If you got a boring afternoon no matter in office or at home, feel free to listen This Afternoon, at least it manage to cheer me up... :)

Finally, Oasis is back since (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (1994), or, I would say since Be Here Now (1997). For me, Dig Out Your Soul is kinda back to the Oasis' standard, since their 3 previous albums (Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe The Truth) were obviously not up to path from what an Oasis suppose to be. Dig Out Your Soul is comparable with their 1994's and 1997's but still will not ahead of those classics of theirs.

Bag It Up, The Turning, Waiting For The Rapture, The Shock of the Lightning, I'm Outta Time were good, especially I'm Outta Time from Liam Gallagher, great ballad!!! Others no comment, but one little disappointment is Falling Down by Noel Gallagher, doensn't up to Noel's standard. Another disappointment is, I still can't hear any Noel's long lost significant guitar solo, like those in Don't Look Back in Anger & Some Might Say...
